Link a button that can link like a hyperlink to another web page like youtube or my own Web Page

Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    How does this not exist?? I now have two Adobe products that will let me create subpar prototypes : XD, which won't let me use hyperlinks as buttons, and InDesign which will (quite easily, I would add), but which has a fixed page size and doesn't support fixed object positions while scrolling....waiting for the day I don't have to make ghetto prototypes just because of this one issue.

    This would help us complete our design system as we would like to link to external files such as fonts or 508 checklists.

    I'm new to XD... just started using it about 2 weeks ago and am shocked to find there is no way to link to an external URL and especially to another prototype.

    Makes no sense that you'd have this option in every other Adobe program, please add to XD!!

    Good Evening, I'm inquiring about an update feature in which one can add external links in adobe XD. Similar to the function you have in adobe muse.
    If I'm unclear and example of this of referencing is being able to add a contact page where users can e-mail you about different products or bookings, or being able to purchase items from that link.

    This would enable complete design system. We could have several XD files linked from the single design system file. And, we would be able to add other links (adobe fonts link, creative cloud assets images folder link).
    Action > External link
    Destination > Custom http URL
    Option: Open in new tab

    How much easier could this feature be to implement?

    Please make your web-prototypes have the ability to link to websites (and other XD prototypes).

    Yes PLEASE. I use Adobe XD a lot to make presentations and pitch designs. It would be awesome to have a feature like this!!

    You have GOT to be KIDDING!! Still no option to add an HTTP link - In a 'website development tool'? Come on Adobe, it can't be THAT difficult for you guys.

    add ability to link (to external page or trello card) I can type the link in which helps, but it would be better to just have them click and open in default browser.
