Export size options (e.g. export only 2x version)
The ability to select my sizes for export would be nice. At times I work on apps (as strange as it may sound) that do not require all resolutions of artwork (1x, 2x, 3x) An option to select my would be great. Similar to how Sketch handles it.
Hi,
I’m happy to let you know that once with XD 45 release you can export JPGs and PNGs to any size between 0.1x and 10x (Choose from the dropdown or enter your custom values by hand).
Please let us know if any feedback. Happy exporting!

Thank you,

Last time I just wanted 1x to just show the developers the screen flow.
But because XD doesn't have a more refined way of prototyping like fixed header and footer. I use Marvelapp as a workaround instead.
But after uploading the 1x (artboard) screens on that platform, the screens are too blurry for user testing.
So yes, 2x only for artboard export.

Yes this is correct :)

I have edited my screen to show highlight the feature that I want.
Basically when it comes to design mode, I want to have another option to export not only as 1x, but 2x as well. So when I hit export, I expect the folder will only contain 2x images.
I know that you can export to as web, but that'll contain both 1x and 2x. I don't want that.
Especially when I want to export my screens as 2x because the screens looks more crisp and high defintion when imported into the marvelapp and demo in front of user testers.

In summary, I don't want @1x and @2x in one folder, I just want @2x

I know I can export to web to generate @1x and @2x assets, but I always find myself in finder deleting all the @1x assets because I only want the @2x assets.
So when I upload the 2x assets in Marvelapp, I can just select all and hit upload.

In Marvelapp, I like to make sure my images are crisp and not blurry. Giving the designer the option to choose between exporting just @1x and @2x will allow that flexibility.

1x only???
Not an option for choosing?
Often I need 2x and 3x!

Yes, please. Exporting is a pain in the neck right now. I usually export 50 frames or so at once, and even though I select 1x, after exporting I have 1x and 2x files. I have to then go though and delete all the 2x files making it a hassle.

Hi Adobe, Again, please look at the way Sketch handles exporting options. The user has the option to export at whatever sizes he/she wants at any given time. It's a true UI Designer dream. Copy Sketch and you're on your way to UI Design domination.

I need to option to only export 1x or 2x or 3x. I don't need to always export all of the sizes at once.

It would be nice when practicing techniques to be able to just export one specific size, rather than all of the sizes.

Hi Joe,
The latest one - 0.5.451
I am left wondering why does Adobe XD always export my artboards in @1x AND @2x?
Why can't it just be one size?
Why does it have to export the artboards as @1x @2x and 3x for iOS, and Android with all the folders.
It would make sense if you're exporting assets like icons. But why artboards? I don't get it...

When I press export all artboards, it gives me @1x and @2x.
When I select artboards and export, it gives me 3 options. Export to web, ios or Android. Like really? -

I think it's better keeping this functionality, maybe as options to check/uncheck when exporting.

I'd like a way to export only the 1x version of a screen. When creating UI specs I don't need both sets of images.

I have the same issue. I would like to export the artboards in a selected resolution only, for example 'highest', so that for iOS I would only get the 3x artboards.
Now I export my artboards and then have to delete the 1x and 2x artboards. I use this function to see how the wireframes or designs (font, colors, sizes) look on a device. So the PDF option is nice, but above would be even better. -

I do not always need 2x for web and other sizes for platforms. I would like to have more exporting options so that I can export only the sizes I want. I have to always export 2 sizes unnecessarily (see attached).

I agree. Sometimes for example I need to export 4x artwork, so more flexibility would be really great.
