I have the same issue -- I work for a large financial services institution where we'd like to take advantage of XD but we need the ability to share a prototype internally within our organization without using Adobe Creative Cloud which we're blocked from accessing. The solution would be the ability to export the prototype as a package of html/images that we could host on any web server.

As it turns out, #2) Technique works pretty well; visit https://xd.adobe.com/view/whatever and in Chrome right-click "Save as" , save to "Web page, Complete" format. Then open Chrome with CORS security disabled , and, it seems to allow all the same navigation.

I had the same problem. some other countries clients cannot open this link so how, and required a offline interaction prototype. Wish adobe XD could have an option to download as a PDF or powerpoint format directly

It would be awesome if it becomes a web URL based prototype for remote testing and feedback.

I work at a large tech company and we're not able to store our designs on other people's cloud storage (and sharing/collaboration) solutions. That's such an essential part of the XD experience, and I'd like to have my team use the product - instead of Sketch/Illustrator.

How can I (have Adobe) set up custom cloud sharing for XD so designers in my company can access all the features without using Adobe CC?

I am aware of custom enterprise level installations of some Adobe products (content management systems) a was told at Adobe Max by and Adobe employee that it would be possible to set up a custom cloud storage solution that is not part of any Adobe owned cloud storage (for use with XD) - but got no further details at the time. It was just a conversation in passing.

I'm looking for more details.

Yup, it's 2017 - not 2005. Why no options for closed networks? Makes ZERO sense. It's not like Adobe would have to build an export feature - they have that and use it for the current 'link to a prototype' functionality.

I would like the ability to export interactive prototypes to HTML 5, so I can share them with my team.

I know that there is a share feature that lets you share prototypes, but I cannot use it as all my prototypes have confidential information that cannot be hosted in an outside service such as Adobe. If I were to share the prototypes with your share feature, I would probably get in a lot of trouble.

I work in a well-know tech company that has a fruit for a name. :P. I am sure a lot of employees within my company currently have the same issue, not to mention other designers that work with confidential information.

Without this feature, I am limited to presenting the prototypes form my computer, which is not ideal.

The HTLM code does not have to be clean or pretty, just functional.

I don't want to upload it in the cloud in every case. I also want to send one offline Clickdummy file to my customer.

Deal breakers - no internal share, no password on cloud access.

@ Peter Flynn, these methods are still inadequate for client work;

For one, they would need to open Adobe XD on their end,
For two, the online prototypes are completely insecure (no passwords) and listed in google results.

An exported prototype could be zipped and sent securely.

Jumping from what we currently have to Adobe XD is difficult to fight for without this functionality.

Agreed with many other comments. I work for the MoJ and internet connections in prisons are not available (for obvious reasons). I love the simplicity of XD but this is a deal breaker so far. Back to other apps, unfortunately.

This will never come, there are other software bugs and errors that are 3 years old and Adobe developers haven't even bothered to check. Upload your prototypes to InVision, there is an offline feature there.

Please figure this out ASAP. XD is a non-starter until this is addressed. I can't count on having an internet connection every time I'm at a client's office to present (I've got 2 regular clients with highly secure environments so we have to go over mobile hot-spots which are slow and painful to setup).

Additionally the security concerns for clients who don't want their stuff "out there" is an enormous concern.

Exporting a local copy is super easy to do with Invision App. Then I can run local, upload to our server, and even password protect it if necessary.

+1 , Save us from Axure!

Any Movement on this? I have hit the same issues as everyone here, the desire to use XD but the limitations of only using internal servers. The work around with Axure is such a timesuck

Sharing over a internal network or an internal server would be a very helpful feature to keep data safe and confidential. Or even to export it directly on the divece without an internet connection.

Would love to use the product, but as people are saying here, within our org, we absolutely cannot put on an external cloud server. Deal killer.
