I would just like to add that when you are staring at a screen for hours on end, it can become pretty fatiguing. Often I find myself lowering the screen brightness as far as it can go, but for color accuracy some of my monitors need to be at max brightness. I know to Adobe this may seem like a "backlog" item, but to a lot of us daily industry users this is a MUST HAVE. I care far more about dark mode than I do any other additional features. You've gotten the software to a good point, now let's honor this 5 year old request before adding anything else. Make it happen please, please, please! Thank you!

What is the point of building a UI design software if you can't use it at night time? Come on ADOBE! Please make dark mode available. Our eyes are suffering and I already know bunch of designers who switched to Figma or Sketch for this very reason. You are losing customers!

It's important to have a dark theme for XD as well, especially working in the night
80% of the designers work on night , and would request to release M1 supported XD as well.

This softwares is giving me nightmares. For fuck sake why you don't just add custom settings and shortcuts like for photshop and the other softwares, this shit is awful. I never used the mouse wheel to move around the work space and it'so uncomfortable that it's giving me cramps, damn.

Please, please, please! Just woke up and XD is blasting into my eyes :-/ not really nice early in the morning. I have two monitors. On the other one, there are dark mode windows and looking back and forth dark mode is sooo much better to look at. We spend hours looking at displays. Please allow us to use dark mode so we can pay for your software longer.

I'm working late at night, my eyes are currently bleeding while writing this comment. Please do something or I will lose eyesight at 25 and live an unhappy designless life for eternity.

I am currently using XD to design dark mode for one of our products. Ridiculous that I can't actually use dark mode on the software that I use to design it! HA

It seems to me that until Figma makes a dark mod, XD team will continue to troll users 🙃

I am just writing here because my eyes are sore. I had only few hours of sleep but still have to finish my job on Adobe XD and it's bright UI is BURNING my eyes.

I lead a team of several UI designers and we are considering shifting to Adobe XD for our prototyping needs. I would like to add my voice to the others here. My teammates and I would all deeply appreciate a dark mode for this product.

Competition is already exploiting your lack of a dark interface theme. Why are you not implementing this for over 4 years now is beyond me. You are just ignorant towards what your users want and need. XD was supposed to be shaped by the community's feedback. Yet, you fail to deliver a top 3 request feature for almost 5 years. *Claps*

To keep this short, Dark Mode is an important feature that has good benefits for users. I was thinking that such a feature "Light Mode / Dark Mode" would be a great addition to Adobe XD. A lot of people are using Adobe XD, on a daily basis at work, sometimes even overtime.

Benefits of Dark Mode:

- Less sleep disruption

- Reducing eye fatigue

- Accessibility for people with visual impairments, migraines or other visual disorders.

Below, I designed a version of Dark Mode for Adobe XD which should allow your eyes to be more relaxed comparing with the Light Mode.

I'd encourage you to give it a try and the best way to do this is as follows:

- Click on the "Light Mode" picture, right click in the center and "Copy Image Address" then paste it into a new google chrome tab. Look at all the details that are displayed for 30 seconds, don't rush just explore the interface. Then, switch to the "Dark Mode", and i guarantee you your eyes will be more relaxed, which is the goal of this feature.
