Password on shared prototypes
Allow the user to add a password to shared prototypes.
You can now enable password protection for prototypes before sharing the links with the reviewers. Ensure that you share the associated password along with the prototype links to the reviewers.
For more information, see https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/share-embed-designs-prototypes.html#password-protection

Currently stuck showing stakeholders around the working file over video calls during reviews..

So now the product is "ready" and you still don't have the password protection? This should be like max one day job...

Currently using XD for a high profile client and they have noticed that the URLs are not behind a password. Will now have to take the links down, revert to passworded PDFs, and completely lose all the clickable functionality that XD is designed for. It's been on the radar for over a year and still nothing done. Now its causing problems for me.

Seriously, more than one year later and it still has not been implemented????
So much for USER centred design.Lots of potential but I will to to stick to what is a viable professional solution at the moment (sketch+invision)

I will need to delete the prototype as soon as my client has viewed it because they won't allow this to available without a password. I'm amazed this wasn't in the first version!

Can't use this software without being able to share prototypes in private unfortunately.

It seems such a simple thing to add, password protected link. This is really limiting the use of the tool in our company.

This is a dealbreaker. At my company we can not use XD untill this is implemented :(

+1 My company needs this in order to use this feature.

Per Adobe Agent, shared links (shared prototypes on cloud) can be viewed by anyone - can be discoverable on web.
I think the most company don't want to put design work which is before launch to where can be discoverable.
I'd like to ask for the password feature!

I agree completely with all the comments here.
For me and my company it's a slippery slope as most of my colleague-designers now work with the Sketch-Invision combination. The momentum for strengthening the CC embedment in my organisation is right now. The fact that we can't securely share prototypes with clients is a major blocker that is preventing this. The longer we have to wait for secure sharing of prototypes with clients, the less likely it is we'll be using any Adobe products in the future at all. Which will make me as a person unhappy, but business wise logical as everything else is so much cheaper anyway.

Since brining this up to the company I'm working with - response was simple: "We'll just have to use Invision"...
Ouch. Adobe can we start getting updates on this and the other features that users are SCREAMING for?
Thanks 8•)

Yes please - rudimentary for prototypes!
Maybe in the soon to be released update. Surely we're done on the endless windows additions by now?
Pretty please...

Until XD allows me to share protoypes (without having to host them on a publicly accessible location), I can't get its use approved.

Not having this feature is a major blocker for us - we can not gain approval to use XD for our largest client, which happens to be a global brand that requires password protection for just about everything we work on.

or at least an embed code so it can be used inside confluence , work front or other project management tools via browser
