Support to import a video or animated GIFs to simulate animations or even playable video.

Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that in XD 45 (released today 10/26), you will be able to import MP4 video into your XD designs.

To ensure platform compatibility and performance across desktop, web and mobile preview, your video must be:

MP4
H.264
AAC audio
under 15 MB
4K or under resolution.

Enjoy and we can’t wait to see what you create!

XD does not support Animated GIF, so if you are still looking for that, please start a separate request and vote on it.

    I just started using Adobe xd few days back and this is a feature that I felt the need for. Come on Adobe, I don't want to compromise on my projects due to some less features.

    I can almost ditch my Keynote and use Adobe XD to build my presentations - if they provide this feature.

    Cool a year and a half old feature request with nearly 10k votes, but no movement on it... Meanwhile we can use video game controllers on our prototypes.

    This item has been in the backlog for well over a year. Can we ask why there hasn't been any update on progress with this at all?
