Import Videos & Animated GIFs to show in interactive preview
Support to import a video or animated GIFs to simulate animations or even playable video.

Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that in XD 45 (released today 10/26), you will be able to import MP4 video into your XD designs.
To ensure platform compatibility and performance across desktop, web and mobile preview, your video must be:
MP4
H.264
AAC audio
under 15 MB
4K or under resolution.
Enjoy and we can’t wait to see what you create!
XD does not support Animated GIF, so if you are still looking for that, please start a separate request and vote on it.

I would be quite OK if there were limitations on the video size and format. Dropping in big videos could swell out an XD storage size and cause problems with the web viewing and export for developers.

Be great to be able to have video or animation on designs so prototyping is as life like as the mind wants it to be. Great to hear any ways to do this going forward

MAKE THIS HAPPEN! Even Powerpoint does that Indesign aswell, why not Abobe XD for interactivity? Isnt it what the program is made for?

Adobe XD Admin Demlan Borba Marked all the Top Needed Features as Feature started as in Real its a Complete LIE nothing is in Adobe XD eg scrollable Areas, Tap Hover effect
