  1. when will the update of this thread https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/16278061 be available?

Since 2016 you don't do an update.
Are you devoting all the effort to figma?

  2. I would like to be able to turn off autocorrect when typing. Because, more often then not; the correction is wrong.

  4. Please make the tools at the toolbar more sensitive. The sensitive area around the icons is not adequate yet.

Thank you boys and girls and all you others!

  5. OKLCH colors are the next best thing as you can read about here: https://evilmartians.com/chronicles/oklch-in-css-why-quit-rgb-hsl
Would be great if Adobe XD added it to the color picker, so I don't have to convert colors to OKLCH myself.

  7. I find that this is the MOST annoying feature. I accidently click the SHARE button so many times which causes XD to break previous links. Please can we have a feature added to have it disabled in Design mode. I have looked for this in the preferences, but I cannot disable it.

  8. Just think about it. Why is resizing stacks in their stacking direction disabled?

The only thing that comes to mind, is that it might be hard to determine how the stack might behave when growing. But this limits us too much in creating actually dynamic designs. Besides: is it really that hard? I beg to differ.

Say, I have a list item, with an icon of fixed dimensions and a text layer. The list item has padding, and the contents are laid out in a stack: please refer "1. the stack.png" for my example.

I would like the icon to retain…

  9. It would be great if XD remembered the export format used in a file.

How it works currently is, if I export all my artboards, I select JPG.

If I then need to go back and re-export artboards after making changes, I have to select JPG every time.

If the project remembered what export file type you used, that would save a lot of time!

  11. The size of the emoji when entering the text box and the size of the emoji after input is different. If I 'export as png' the dashboard with the emoji, the size of the emoji looks different again. I attach 2 screenshots and the dashboard exported as a png.

  12. Why didn't you start with the code for InDesign and strip out the print specific features and go from there? Forget that you've spent money, time and development trying to mimic workflows from Sketch or especially Figma.

Designers do not need everything to be automated.

Creating and editing text should be exactly like it is in your flagship programs. Click and go or drag a text box and go. No silly auto width, auto height or fixed. Just an open box where type flows as one changes the size or scales as one does with a modify key.

    In the…

  13. Include multiple functions within the Document Assets (Colors, Character Style, Components, Videos). For instance, quickly create multiple components at once based on selected group layers within the canvas. In terms of libraries management, creating a set of symbol is less time consuming

  14. When setting a drop shadow, it would be nice to be able to click "Make this the default drop shadow" so that any new drop shadows that are added automatically have that drop shadow. You could also have "Use default" of anything that already had a drop shadow applied.

Much like the layout grid with the 'make default' and 'use default' options

  15. The [Preview] to scroll up or down to where I'm working: providing a real-time view of the design. As in, I click on an element, and the [Preview] would jump to where the element is.
The behaviour now is when you work on an element in a long design, you move over and scroll to where you are working so you may "preview" it.
It's easy enough to go to the top of the page by reloading the [Preview] or by adding my own [Jump to Top] button, but it is less so to keep scrolling up and down as…

  16. It would be nice to be able to shift around the viewing area when editing a text box. It's a little frustrating to have to de-select a text box just to move the view a little bit.

  17. Currently, vector objects in Illustrator can be copy/pasted onto Adobe Animate artboards. However, due to how ridiculously slow Illustrator is as soon as you add an image, it's less than ideal for mocking up/storyboarding HTML5 banners/animations.

XD on the other hand is lightning fast when images and vector graphics are used.
If vector artwork such as text and buttons could be copy/pasted between XD and Animate, it would make it the perfect storyboarding program, which Adobe currently doesn't have.

  18. I would expect to be able to save components from any file to the <library file>.
This would help me keep track of the created components and re-use them as I design more screens, in separate files.
Currently, I can't keep up with updating the <library file> as I work. I tried but it consumes a massive amount of time.

The extent to which I use this feature is by creating a <library file> that contains all the colours, fonts and a few basic components (inputs, selectors, buttons). As I create more and more screens with many new components, I…

  20. When designing interfaces, it would be very convenient when after typing in a custom list of items in a grid, there is a function to sort them alphabetically. Right-click on the grid/group of items and choose 'order alphabetically'.
