    Thanks for your feedback. I’m going to leave this open, but I will say that the current text boxes match the size of the glyphs as defined by the font designer and is not calculated separately by XD. This means that you’ll often find fonts that either have extra padding or insufficient padding to include all pixels in the font, as it’s defined in the font itself. Hope that helps!

    I don't know if this is related but as a user of Sketch I am used to assigning a line height of text and having the height of the text container match that value. I was told how this is real html behaves.

    But in Xd if I make my line height (spacing) 25px the bounding area of that text is only 19px and the option to amend the height is greyed out.

    This makes it hard to maintain design rhythm

    May not help perfectionists but found a work around for this.

    By adjusting the letter spacing to -0.01 ( I tried smaller but Xd has limits) allows me to create a separate style.

    Not ideal but i would rather have independent control of my styles

    Has the baseline issue been addressed in XD? In Sketch i can adjust the baseline to match how text is presented in html. as an example text with 54px text size with 54px lineheight sticks out the bottom. the text should sit vertically centered within the 54px height.

    Double clicking the little red arrow only expands the container giving a false layout. And my QA's would pick up incorrect spacing of elements

    Is this being looked at? am finding it a headache to work out the correct numbers so that the development team can be accurate:

    I have a Header text at 61px with AV set to 16.4. In code this equates to -1px in the code which is what I want.

    Then I created a larger header size at 80px but 16.4 AV = -1.31px in code;

    I now have to spend time with trial and error to get my larger text size to -1px

    To make XD more successful it needs to be a tool that can be used across all team disciplines. and be design for digital
