I see that some of the people who have responded are looking for hovers for elements, which is already supported via hover states: https://twitter.com/elainecchao/status/1194695173499830273?s=20 This specific request seems to be focused on supporting secondary navigation where there might be overlapping edges. I’ll keep this open for the latter use case.

Lets say you have a Button designed as a component but you want it to have different labels in different situations - the problem I have: every time I change something in the primary component, the label always sets back as well. It would be nice if I could set some "Lorem Ipsum" as a placeholder text that can be changed in child components without repercussions.

It's helpful if you make a UI Kit with all button states shown for example. For now I have to set all states with every new button component I create (primary, default, flat etc.) by hand.

Make it possible to split a screen to compare two boards. Also to show two files next to each other.

I understand the scale function for images mimics mostly the behavior of an image in css. It would be nice to have the background-image properties of css mirrored in the image tool panel.
Size (cover, contain, etc.)
Repeat (x, y, etc.)
Atattchment (fixed, scroll, etc.)

At the moment it bothers us mostly in Buttons. We set a Design and call the button "safe" (because this is the most commonly used) but if we change the name and then want to check with the primary component, the text sets back again.
