An error occurred while saving the comment Austin Condiff commentedAnother example would be checkboxes, radio buttons, and toggle switches. They all have on and off states, but those on and off states also have hover, pressed, and disabled states as well. They also can have a light and dark mode variation.

An error occurred while saving the comment Austin Condiff commentedLet's say I create a 128x128 Card component with multiple elevations as states. If I create a new instance of the Card component and resize it to 300x400, then change states, I expect it to retain my 300x400 size rather than reverting to 128x128 because I changed the component size, not the shape inside the Card component.

To put it into perspective, this request is about 4 years old! Come on Adobe. I am really trying to give XD a fair shake, but it is this kind of thing that makes us as designers lose confidence in both XD as a product and Adobe as a company.
Let's end 2020 on a good note! The absence of dark mode in XD is ruining my poor eyes.
