This seems to be broken. It used to work such that you could paste across multiple artboards in prototype mode but it no longer does so. Even if you have multiple artboards selected, it will only do it for the first artboard selected.
Design view does paste it across all of the artboards, but then you lose all the links in the process.
Edit: Hmm, this seems to work again now - I had to restart XD though. There seems to be an underlying bug that's causing this to work intermittently. In my case, I had been using undo/redo quite a bit so it may be related. Not the first time I've seen something not work all of a sudden that was cleared up on a restart of XD!
Edit 2: Actually, seems even worse than that. Now it's not working anymore even after restarting. And when you do paste in this way and it pastes to only the first board, it loses some of the links. I've saved off an XD project illustrating this that i'll attach to my next comment with instructions for repro.

I know Axure gets dinged for being clunky and you can hang yourself with how much power is in it. That said, the logic aspect of Adobe XD is really primitive. Things like conditionals, AND, OR and variables would be absolutely huge and would level up the program substantially. Please add this!

Would be great to have this. A good example is having the navbar as a component on the home page art board. You want the home button in the navbar component to always return to this home art board, but this limitation prevents you from being able to do so.
Yes, hitting the home button on the same artboard wouldn't do anything, but hitting the home button with this navbar component copied to any other art board should return back to the home artboard.
Instead, the work around is to copy this navbar component to a separate artboard just so you can make a link for the "home" button to go to the home artboard.

Hello, I looked online and it appears that this is something that windows 10 no longer supports. It sounds like in the past users could change their selection highlight on an OS level but not with Win 10 unless you start to dig into the registry values.
I changed the registry values to get a new highlight text to appear - the interesting thing is this updated the color for all programs other than Adobe XD so it appears to be hardcoded to the default blue value.
Additionally, I'm watching some adobe XD tutorial videos and the selection highlights in the older versions seem to be working differently with it highlighting as expected (at least on the mac when viewing videos of mac users) - so I'm guessing something is broken for the windows version.

Hello,
From what I can tell, none of the other programs are using the windows selection highlight and this is not something easily exposed to windows users (I just did a google search and it appears you have to edit registry keys to change this on an OS level).
In applications like word and photoshop, it inverts it and doesn't care about what the OS is set to. I've attached an image showing how selection works in Word as well as this same color value being used in Photoshop and how it's handled there. It would be great if this worked the same way in XD. Thanks!

Another update for you all – we now support tethered iOS. For Android, you can open cloud documents using the XD mobile application.

It is not possible to do a live test of Adobe XD on Android via USB with windows 10. The real time update loop that's available for iphones should ideally extend to android as well.
There's another request regarding this "Live XD preview On Android" that was closed out as feature complete but it's not completed. You still cannot test in real time with USB.

Attached a file illustrating this. Go into the prototype mode of this file. Control + C the top header navbar on the very first artboard named Navbar.
Then clear your selection and shift + click the name of the 2nd, 4th, and 5th art boards so they're selected (Home Page, Dashboard, and Courses respectively). I select art boards in this way vs marquee select so that may be a factor. Anyways, Ctrl + V to paste that component and observe that it will only paste on the Home Page board and that the link for "EXAMPLE" is cleared out.
