It would be good to understand if this request has been reviewed or not. This is one of the items that makes our team strongly consider competitors.

I think the most important thing here is to remove the color from the character style and allow the color applied to be chosen from the color palette, as those are already named. From our experience the colors applied are typically chosen from the existing color palette of our guidelines and not unique to the character style, so merging the 2 makes it very hard to manage.

Please note that stacks is a feature that is intended to be used at design time, and does not dynamically shift the stack in preview. I’m going to rewrite this particular request to be more precisely about the latter suggestion.

I think this should be considered for more than just clarity, but for robustness during co-editing and editing the main component when it is used in several places.

Having an isolation mode where nothing outside of the isolated component gets updated until you leave isolation mode would help greatly with the computation for live updating components across the entire file as you are editing (because it would remove live editing until you leave isolation mode). It is really slow to update a widely used complex component at the moment, or can even crash in some instances.

Could we get a response from adobe on whether or not this feature is planned or a version of this feature?

    Awesome. Thank you!

Is there a place where I can track progress?
