An error occurred while saving the comment alanjawn commentedYes, agreed. This should not convert to path unless you actually make a change. This is especially obnoxious when it disables you from specifying corner radius.

An error occurred while saving the comment alanjawn commentedwhile searching for button-xyz I should be able to shift select all items named button-xyz to be able to change the x position, y position, width and height across all artboards.

Sorry for the false alarm! Someone pointed out to me that I interpreted the request incorrectly. While you can now select objects both in the artboard and on the pasteboard, you cannot yet select objects on the pasteboard and complete artboards themselves.

Got it. Currently, that’s expected behavior, as double clicking and adding points converts it from a rectangle (which will maintain the corner radius) to a path, which has a different set of rules for resizing (for things like icons). I think what you want is this behavior: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12962355. If this looks good, I’ll go ahead and merge this story with that one.

right now if you draw a line with four points you cannot select the middle segment of the line, then delete it, changing it to two separate lines. I would like to see this functionality in XD. Deleting points sequentially from the end just does not cut it, too often I have to go back to illustrator for basic path editing.
