It's really really time consuming to locate a library file. I'd like to favorite or pin certain files at the top of my cloud documents for easier access.

Dropbox does this really well in their desktop app (see screenshots, drag any file into your "pinned" at top.

Example: I often cannot locate my design system file that multiple projects are connected to. Would be great to always have it and other frequented files/big projects ready to open.

When you import a JPEG image, we assume you’re bringing in a 2x-resolution image to support high-DPI (Retina) screens. Since you typically design at 1x scale in XD, the correct thing to do in that case is resize the image to 50% of its original size.

If you’re using lower-DPI image assets, then currently you’ll have to manually resize the image back to its original size. Do you run into this often enough that you’d like a preference to completely turn off the auto-resizing? Or does your situation vary so that you’d prefer an option to choose each time you import a JPEG? Please let us know.

(I’ll update the title here to clarify that this is the general type of thing being requested).

I’ve tweaked the title so it covers only exporting animation to GIF format. This will help keep our feature list fine-grained so we can get a better picture of which are the most important.

For the other formats that were originally mentioned here:

Not sure if this is possible but I usually record a preview of my animations then convert the MP4 to a gif. It would be great if I could utilize the desktop preview recording option to save as a gif, from the moment the animation starts and finishes.

Mostly making gifs for social assets.
