    Hi Dan,

Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. I can see that when a new document in XD is not in focus, the shortcut does not work. As a solution, you can click on anything in the document you are working on, and the shortcut will start working. You can also check from UI in View>Show Square Grid. If this is appearing grayed out, the document in not in focus and the shortcut will not work.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Arvid,

What kind of usb-dock are you using. If you could share the model number and what kind of outputs are available in it, it will help us in recreating the issue locally and then fix it, if its an issue with XD.

You can share an image of the usb-dock also.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi,

We tried reproducing the issue as seen by you. If you have activated the font and its bold version in Adobe fonts, you should be able to see it. For your reference, i have attached the screenshot of font family to check if you have the bold version activated on your account or not. If this also does not solve your problem, do let us know.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Jan,

As i mentioned in your other thread too, we need some more information to isolate the root cause of the issue:
    1. Hardware configuration of your system (RAM, CPU, GPU if present)
    2. Do you see this problem in any other system as well?
    3. If you quite all application and let only XD run, do you still run into this issue?
    4. If you could make a movie using screen capture tool, it will help us in recreating.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Arvind,

Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue in XD. I will need some more information to recreate the issue and then isolate the root cause. I will appreciate if you could share:
    1. The screenshot of entire website
    2. point out which images go missing
    3. What is the size of those images (original size, dimension and in KB/MBs)
    4. Do they appear fine in 1x

If you are located in India, you can show me the problem using screen share. I can be reached at ralal_at_adobe_dot_com.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Sammy,

Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. I tried to recreate the issue at my end. When i select the text frame, or select the text i want to change font for, it behaves right. I can change the font on pressing down or up keys, and on pressing enter, it commits change.

Only time it behaves wrong, is when i have only placed my cursor in the middle of text, then i get to see the behavior as seen by you. I would request you to select the text or text frame to change the font. Then you will see the right behavior.

If you are still facing the issue, i will request you to create a screen capture of the issue you are facing and share it in form of a GIF. This will help us in recreating the issue.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Tom,

Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. We tried creating this locally, but we do not see the bug seen by you. When we create a grid of 1300 in a document of 1900, it automatically created equal margins of 300 on both sides.

Please try recreating this in latest version of XD. If you are still facing this issue, please write step by step on how you are creating the grid, so that it will help us in recreating the issue here and find a solution for you.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Ben,

I am not able to recreate the bug at my end. Please help us with few details, so that we can recreate the issue and try to solve it for you:
    1. Did quitting and relaunching XD make it work?
    2. If you could write down step by step on how to see the problem as seen by you, will help us. Start from very first step like creating a new file, followed by what all changes you made and at what step, you started seeing this behaviour.
    3. Mac make and model.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Anthony,

Could you please let us know:
    1. If this problem is only happening with Adobe XD?
    2. If you try to use wacom on Photoshop or any other software, does it work fine?
    3. Does rolling back the latest update of Wacom Bamboo fixes the issue for you?
    4. Is it reproducible after updating XD to latest version also?
    5. What is the model number of Wacom Bamboo and what version of update caused this?

These details will help us in isolating the real cause.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Michael,

Did you rescale/resize the image after importing in XD? By doing scaling, you are changing the original resolution of the image, so the resultant 1x and 2x exported will have resolution of scaled size.

If not, please share the screenshot and if possible the image you are importing, so that we can recreate the issue here. You can share the files at ralal_at_adobe_dot_com

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Xander,

I was able to open and view the file perfectly. See the screenshot attached. I can share your file after saving as XD, if that will solve your issue. Let me know.

See if uninstalling and reinstalling XD helps you.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Danillo,

One solution is to convert the text to UTF-8. You can change this by opening your document in Notepad. In the Save As dialog, select “UTF-8” for encoding (at the bottom) instead of ANSI or Unicode.

Now paste this text in XD. See if this solves your problem.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Priyanka,

Please see if this video helps in solving your issue: https://youtu.be/HhZUs-DSmBg

If you are looking for a feature, that will automatically create a color palette for you from imported image, please add the request as a new feature request instead of bug.

    Thanks,

    Hi Klak,

To correct the area to align centrally, you can convert it to point text again.

If you can explain the need of making the single line of text work the way you want, by giving example in a design document, will help me understand it better and i will be able to convince that its a bug.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal

    Hi Steven,

We tried reproducing the issue here, and we are seeing both regular and medium correctly. Please see the image attached. The only thing that could have caused is, you do not have this font on your system. In this case, XD will substitute the nearest font and will show you the text.

Please try installing the font and let us know if it fixes your issue.

    Thanks,
    Rakesh Lal
