The delay in this feature is so bizarre! We've literally got 100s of designers waiting to move to XD, but we won't move forward without basic text editing capabilities (like hanging indented bullets and other HTML basics).
This must be deceptively complicated/difficult to accomplish.
XD's prototyping capabilities are jumping ahead but these basic issues are holding the app back from becoming a Sketch-killer.An error occurred while saving the comment Martin Sarna commented
I'm looking forward to using XD as the primary tool for our team's digital layout. However, not being able to layout bullets is a dealbreaker in our (very large) pharma marketing company's adoption of XD for digital layout. Hanging indents, bullets, paragraph spacing, etc. are all crucial parts of our layout needs.
Please move this to the TOP of your to-do list!An error occurred while saving the comment Martin Sarna commented
We have a large conglomerate of agencies poised to move to XD but it is NOT going to happen before the XD dev team adds bullets (at the very least).
We're trying to urge teams over to XD but those who are can be heard cursing as they try to manage without text formatting that we have grown to consider commonplace.
We market all forms of pharma – consumer and health care professional – and we can't move into XD if we can't create bulleted lists and format text cleanly.
Thank you for addressing this as soon as possible.Martin Sarna supported this idea ·

Surprised this isn't already available. As a temporary measure, perhaps we could be able to set tabs and hanging indent in Illustrator and paste the text into XD as is the case from AI to Photoshop.

I’m going to leave this one open, but please note that you can do this already using auto-animate and the time trigger.

If there are two or more columns of comparison content and you want to keep items aligned, it's useful to have a soft-return when one item wraps and the other doesn't.

Yes, please! In a large agency setting, images are updated frequently. Having to reimport images every time they are updated slows us down and increases friction.
Thank you for all your hard work and frequent updates!
