The voice commands you issue will match on any voice triggers added to the current artboard; they don't have to just be on the artboard. So for a work around, try adding multiple "invisible" objects to a single artboard and then wiring up different voice trigger commands to those. Using this approach you could handle multiple confirmation utterances (e.g., "Yes", "Okay", "Sure", etc.) that all go the same destination artboard. You can also prototype a multiple choice scenario by wiring those to different destinations.
