Figma's had this for a while. I don't like to see XD lagging behind :)

Still doing it AND when I click any new document icon, it gives error 3623 Can't create document.
Still doing it. I often have to load twice to get recents to show.
How do I "Update all cells with current"?

I have this issue with the latest XD as of Dec. 12/18.
The problem I think has to do with the mouse movement. For example, if I want to change font size, I can click into the font size input field and move the mouse up and down to increase or decrease the value in the input.
I think this is triggered by accident when users click an input field. Moving the mouse slightly on the y-axis causes the input to lose focus. Then the user starts typing thinking the focus is till in the input. Instead XD for some reason defaults to changing the opacity.
For me this is very reproducible.
1. Create a new text node with value "hello"
2. Click inside font size input field
3. Click and drag down or up to increase the font size
4. Release mouse to apply the new font size
5. Now type 18
6. Opacity should change to 18
So I see 2 problems:
1. If you do this quickly, you can lose focus on an input field too easily due to y-axis movement (preventing user from being able to modify that value)
2. Opacity seems to be the default thing XD changes when focus is lost (causing user to have to undo opacity if they even notice)
I run into this many times throughout the day, though now that I've figured out what's causing it, I'm more careful when clicking inputs and ensure the focus is active.
Looks like you can now Rclick element > Reveal Character style.
This is a bit awkward. Why wouldn't XD just do this automatically?? (every text editor and other Adobe product works this way)

This was one of the main things that caused me not to adopt XD right away. Now I'm hooked but the features are needed. I mean, FW quality in bitmap and vector is crappy by today's standards. I hope you can do better.

I want to export my workspace including prototyping links an one large image. Right now, I have to zoom out and screengrab which is poor quality.
I second Object-Oriented design for XD components, so they encapsulate assets, layout, animations, and interactivity. Here's a full description on Twitter, using Unreal Engine as an example from gaming dev: https://twitter.com/VladMalik/status/1067226303185616896
Sounds great. I’ve changed the title to reflect the clarification: “Align and distribute path anchor points”
I think "Center" etc alignment options should be available for path points, the way they are in illustrator. For example, if I create a triangle, I should be able to distribute the points so they are equidistant.

Auto animate isn't the solution to this. Most page transitions are between unrelated content (home page to product page, product to checkout). You don't want to auto-animate those (or do any transition at all in many cases). You just want XD to recognize that certain elements are shared by multiple pages so they should not move.
I would use this to group artboard sequences into interactions or animations. For example, I might have a series of artboards linked with auto-animate. They capture the start, transitional, and final states of a single screen. It would even be nice to collapse them into one item like "Show product", concealing the "animation frames" like: fade in product > rotate and slide in product info or pop-up message > play sound.

We’ve just started working on this feature. It’s coming soon!
