An error occurred while saving the comment Benjamin Rancourt commentedI also feel this is a massive problem easily overlooked, as accidental double clicks happen too easilly - double click should not change a shape to path in my opinion. My main reasoning is that since double-clicks are already used to "go deeper" and enter a group, going one level too far and transforming happens without notice.
Most of the time I only later notice I can't change border radius anymore and have to re-draw the shape.
Prefer that the shape>path conversion happens either in the right-click menu or by a slightly more difficult combination, like having to hold shift additionally.

An error occurred while saving the comment Benjamin Rancourt commentedUpvoting for background pattern fill, this would make the selection of fill methods complete - the repeat grid workaround is acceptable but not very convenient.

This was a very dissapointing and unexpected downgrade that must have been forgotten while updating the assets panel. Working with big screens it was very useful to resize the panel and let it show 3 columns. The alternative tile view still has multi-column feature and I would enjoy using it IF it showed the names of styles and colors directly.
Currently both modes have their flaws and thanks to this change, the list view recieved one more. I hope it becomes customizable at some point so you can finally set the panel to display what you need.
