    This is very ironic that You can't do that in the desktop app, yet in the web prototype comments, that's the only way to add a new line.

    Elaine - pasting above selected layer would be useful for example when I need to copy design element in the exact z-order in a very long list of layers to keep it clear.

    With current solution I need to scroll down this long list and find this place again (actually happens a lot to me as I work with long sales pages a lot)

    Duplicating is completely different use case.
