We use XD as our primary design tool to create our design system and core product designs. We would love to leverage the full power of working solely in the CC environment, but the thing that's missing is the ability for designers to check out a project and merge it back into the master as developers do with Git.

We currently use Abstract to do this, but it lacks the integration with CC hosted libraries and files. It's a nice tool, but we would prefer to move 100% into managing projects/files through XD with the ability to create branches and merge them back to master.

Currently we design our mockups with the desktop (ttf) version of our licensed typefaces. The issue is that our devs are using the WOFF, WOFF2, EOT, and Web TTF versions which render juuuust differently enough that it looks different in production. It would be nice to be able to install or utilize these web specific versions in our design to provide consistency when passing over to development.

Adobe needs to make some big strides in competing with other tools like InVision or this one: https://www.justinmind.com/support/liquid-layouts-and-breakpoints/ which supports exactly what this request is for. I'm beyond surprised this isn't in active development as it would be SO valuable for users that are needing to create responsive designs for multiple devices/breakpoints.

It would be great to be able to scale the browser/preview window to engage with the a responsive web prototype or experience accurate orientations for different devices.

Many of my designs are for websites, and being able to view a fully responsive prototype would be game changing.

Also being able to limit which objects are shown at different break points would be super helpful.

I’m moving this over to the Feature Request section of the database, as it’s an enhancement request on the way we’ve designed the copy and paste functionality.

    Thanks,

    Hi, all-

“Convert to code” is fairly ambiguous, and I’m looking for more specifics as to what you’re hoping to get out of this. We already have a number of stories that go to specific technologies: HTML/CSS, XCode, Android Studio, etc. I’d like to close this one out in the interest of having more specific export paths.
