An error occurred while saving the comment Ben commentedThe new 'Edit in photoshop feature' is the start of a great addition to XD and is great for making image edits on the fly, however at this point it doesn't quite work as expected as edits to images in photoshop are destructive. When I close and reopen the XD file my edits in the PSD have been flattened. For most designers its best practise to do any image edits using photoshops non-destructive features.
Perhaps a better solution would be linked files in XD.

I’m leaving this open for now, but just as a heads up, there’s an overset text alert on selection of area text. https://twitter.com/elainecchao/status/1128363094760132609?s=20
An error occurred while saving the comment Ben commentedDefinitely think this could be more obvious, the small dot is easily missed. I also have to click on each text box to check if its overset. Would it not be better to have some kind of indication of offset text whether a text box is selected or not?

An error occurred while saving the comment Ben commentedIt would be great if there was the ability to save XD files as template files similar to .ait format in adobe illustrator.
In my company we create white label interfaces that are re-themed to different clients, so theres lots of re-use of the same template files. This feature would be a small time-saver but would also help us to avoid files being overwritten.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ben commentedWe have a large design and development team with team members working remotely and in different areas of the building it's extremely important that our design specs are a single source of truth, but with so many designers and developers working on a projects it quickly becomes difficult to manage the links to Spec files.
This has meant that we have had to create a central resource in google docs to manage the links to Specs.
It would be so much easier if the specs were somehow integrated into XD (kind of like the prototyping area), or if specs could be exported locally.

Collaboration with copywriters is still a major pain point, and it seems that none of the tools available are addressing this issue. XD has some great features that bridge the gap between design and development in the same way it would be great to see a feature set that facilitated a more seem-less workflow between copywriters and designers.
Perhaps a tool that would give copywriters edit access to text elements, I imagine a similar workflow to incopy, designers can set specific text fields to be editable by copywriters.
