An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedIs there any update on this? My dev was having issues accessing elements inside a group even though I'd marked everything for export. Realized that it ignores elements inside the group!
Grouping is super important for rapid prototyping from the designer perspective. Makes no sense that I would have to ungroup everything and/or go all the way down the layer list expanding EVERYTHING and marking for export.
This is the first time I've had this issue, and I'm pretty shocked.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedI would also like to see this happen. One of our brands uses a font library, another uses SVG, and I'm forced to recreate a lot of work now because of the export to dev doesn't work for them.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedDesperately need this.
Tried Vlad's workaround but I am skeptical, because the component still says "Instance." Shouldn't it be a main component now since it's unlinked from the previous? Where is this one's "Main?" -- If I paste it in a new document, it is then linked to this instance which I had made Local. So this Instance is acting like a Main for its future instances. The actual MAIN is my original. This is SO confusing. I'm still concerned that something will get overridden at some point.
An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedI thought I was working on 5 Main components. And after making all my edits, realized they were all "Instance" not "Main" because I'd saved the document under a new name. So now none of my component changes rippled through the document! If I ungroup the components, I will lose my hover states.
So YES. We need the capability to change an Instance of a component to either override the main, or be a new component, with all states inherited.
An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedIt's insanity that we can't do this.
I just made 6 states. Then realized I need 6 individual components instead so that each "state" can have an independent trigger. If we could duplicate master components, then I would be able to duplicate, rename, and delete the superfluous states.
You are probably adding 2-3 hours of work to my day but not having this simple feature. And this happens to me all the time.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedSame. I need a nav that is at the bottom of the page until after they pass it. Then I need to to be sticky to the top. Other softwares do this.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedThis is happening to me too. I have a fixed button on my prototype and it appears when I open the link in a normal browser, but if I open on a phone or Dev Tools-mobile, it is missing.

Hey Ryan! Definitely something I’ve been looking for as well!
I can safely say this is a feature we’d all like to see in XD.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedOr at least allow the option. Shouldn't happen by duplicates, but should have an option "Resolve Duplicates"

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurel commentedWhy are there not more votes on this? How can they expect me to click on EVERY text frame individually to look for missing spelling?! I have hundreds of text frames in my document! And it relies on VISUAL perception. That is not very accessible at all.

Grouping is super important for rapid prototyping from the designer perspective. Makes no sense that I would have to ungroup everything and/or go all the way down the layer list expanding EVERYTHING and marking for export. So having everything expanded with one-click would really help me select all and export the individual assets.
