An error occurred while saving the comment Very surprised this isn't possible yet. I have been trying to get a checkbox to toggle the state of its label text (which is a separate component with its own hover and active states), as you would expect in any application, where you can toggle a checkbox by either clicking the checkbox or its label.

An error occurred while saving the comment Wow, 5 years later and still no scrubby zoom or flick panning in XD :(. And no insight from the XD team whether this has been considered at all? Very sad.
An error occurred while saving the comment I think maybe what is requested here is something like Photoshop's Scrubby Zoom featured that allows a fairly smooth (and precise) way to zoom in and out of a document.
I agree this how I would expect XD to function as well. It would also be ideal if XD also supported flick panning like Photoshop, alongside the scrubby zoom.
Ever since these two features were introduced in PS quite a while ago, they've become indispensable features and it would be natural for them to be carried over in an environment like XD where panning and zooming are as normal as object selection.

An error occurred while saving the comment Seriously, WHY would I select ALL elements across all artboards? I just realized today that Ctrl+A selects EVERYTHING when all I wanted is to make room on the artboard at the very top to add an extra section in the header above everything.
Since I have a pretty long page/artboard, I had to zoom out considerably and drag for a while trying to get everything in. Makes no sense.
Ctrl+A should select everything in active artboard.
Ctrl+Modifier+A should select everything across all artboards.
Ctrl+A if no artboard active should select All Artboards (in case you'd want to export them all for example). -

It is alarming the extent to which Adobe is not offering a consistent user experience across apps. When essential features existed in other apps like Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop for years and are not extended to new apps like XD, not even after 6 years of requests, it reminds me of a siloed approach to software development similar to Microsoft.
If artboards exist in Photoshop, Illustrator and XD, their core feature set should be similar, if not identical, so that users who hop from one app to another not have to constantly be met by roadblocks.
To anyone who voted for this idea, I think it's safe to drop all your hopes. If they haven't implemented this in 6 years, they are not going to do it now.
