Currently, sampling a color takes 3-4 clicks—one of them more burdensome simple tasks in the Xd workflow. It would be more efficient if, after clicking the Fill or Border color box, the pointer automatically switched to the dropper if you hover over an object on an artboard. Click the color box, mouse over to the object you want to sample, click the object, and the sample color fills the original object.
This would only work when the color picker is open, and you'd have to close it to return to normal tool function.

Yes. At the very least, a different color for different transition types and for outbound, inbound links.

Hi,
The feature that allows you to control the position of stroke: inside/center/outside was started and it will be available in the future versions of Adobe XD. Will let you know once the feature becomes available.
Cheers,

One quick workaround is to create the grid, then ungroup it when you need to edit individual elements. This means it can no longer be treated as a repeating grid, but if you get it how you want it first it's better than nothing.

I have run into this issue while creating a seat map. Creating a repeating grid for big sections of seats would be enormously helpful—except that I now can't style 'available,' and 'reserved' seats differently.
For now I'm sticking with copy and paste, but I would greatly appreciate the ability to do this with a repeat grid.

Sorry, this headline is misleading. It should say something like 'Automatically switch to dropper when hovering over an artboard with color picker open.'
