Several of the items originally mentioned here are covered by other feature requests already:
- Dotted/dashed lines: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13024749-dotted-and-dashed-line-border-styles
- Accept CSS as input for styling XD elements: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12926715-use-css-to-specify-object-appearance
The only suggestion I think we don’t have listed yet is arrow-head line endings. To keep the request list tidy, I will change the title here so it is specifically focused on that one idea. Please upvote the other links above so your interest in those features is captured too.
Thanks for your feedback!

You can direct select elements by holding CMD when clicking on items that are part of groups. Marquee selecting anchor points is landing very soon, so that you could select parts of your rectangle. Do you expect a different behavior? Did I understand your request right? Thanks for your feedback.

This is something we’d like to get more feedback on.
a) Some apps (such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign) behave the way XD does now: reducing fill opacity (not overall object opacity) keeps the whole shadow visible but reduces its opacity in proportion with the fill color’s opacity. At zero fill opacity, the shadow is completely gone along with the fill (unless you have a border, in which case you have a thin ring-shaped shadow left).
b) Other apps (such as Photoshop or Sketch) behave differently: reducing fill opacity leaves the shadow’s opacity at full strength, but clips the shadow so you don’t see it through the translucent fill. At zero fill opacity, in the middle of the shape you can see what’s behind it completely unobscured, but outside the shape’s edges you still see the drop shadow at full strength.
Which one do people prefer? Do you need to…

An error occurred while saving the comment Matt commentedagreed! this causes pain with aligning things if we have to enlarge the size of the repeat grid to accommadate for shadows that go outside the repeat grid bounds

An error occurred while saving the comment Matt commentedI love this feature in Sketch. It also makes it VERY easy to drag artboards directly in to Adobe Acrobat to create PDFs for client review.

Hi everyone,
We’ve started working on multiple fills and borders, with plans to extend to this multiple shadows in the future.
Best,

Editing this story for importing EPS files.

Matt supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Matt commentedIt would be great to simply drag and drop an EPS file from finder in to XD just like you can in Sketch.
It would be great to have similar options like indesign does for the ends of strokes. For diagrams and flows, it would be super helpful to be able to have dot ends, arrow ends, bar ends, etc.
