An error occurred while saving the comment Chassy commentedThis is an important feature for useful components. I want to be able to modify text in an instance, which could be one or several lines, and keep that text aligned enter top, center or bottom. As things are, instances will only keep that text aligned top, making some customizations impossible.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chassy commentedI'm starting a project that requires using the glyphs in the Segoe Fluent Icons font. I'm finding myself using the glyphs panel in InDesign, then copying and pasting over to XD. It just seems weird that XD is the only CC app that doesn't use the standard CC interface.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chassy commentedYup. There should be at least one way to interact with those values using only a mouse pointer. That could also be a drop-down with preselect for values or slider (as in other Adobe apps) or those tiny little up/down buttons (I really should know the formal name for those.) As a power user, I highly value little UI efficiencies that keep me from having to switch between mouse/trackpad/tablet and keyboard.
I'm guessing the theory is that we should always be applying styles rather than specific values, and thus we shouldn't need to spend much time mucking about entering/selecting values. However, a) there are times before styles are defined, b) there are places where styles aren't appropriate, and c) there are no shortcuts for applying styles.

Here's my use case. I'm making a tile component with changes on hover. I need it to have different text / set a text override every time I place an instance. But I have to change that text in each and every state, making for a long and somewhat error-prone process. Overrides really should cascade down the default state.
