Hello XD-Team,
I'm kind of annoyed that a double click automaticly transforms rectangle forms to path forms, because they loose their ability to form corners. I often klick multible times on an combined object to come to its deeper layers, which leads to constantly transforming the background areas to pathes by accident. If you could find an other solution to transform those would be really great! In my opinion the transform feature is not important enough to justify that this happens by accident so often. I sometimes just don't realize the transformation and have to replace the areas later again by rectangle forms.
