So as a developer who receives XD files and works in a strictly controlled IT environment, whenever there is an update to XD we are unable to proceed until an offline installer is created.
Suggestion to have a standalone viewer application that isn't tied to Creative Cloud (the IT issues this causes are endless) that will allow for end users of the XD file to be able to interrogate, but not edit assets provided to them.
What I mean by this is allowing for grouping, exporting, seeing positional information, colours. Basically anything that an implementer of the UI would need.
Of course limiting the software is a must to protect your IP. As such, I would suggest that creating of new elements, moving + editing of existing elements should be disabled.
