Hey Ryan! Definitely something I’ve been looking for as well!

I can safely say this is a feature we’d all like to see in XD.

Agreed, how can this still not be implemented? i'm on windows and not being able to atleast hide the assets/all items/plugins panel as well as the design/interaction panel is evil.

Note: there’s a limited version of this feature already available. If you select an existing piece of text and then leave it selected while you use the Text tool to create new text, its style will match the piece of text you had selected.

How about the ability to be able to directly write SQL (SQL Server or other) queries to generate data on the fly to be used for designing?

If not directly, I suppose one could link an Excel (or maybe Google) spreadsheet to a query and then drop the spreadsheet into XD... but a direct option to run a query to supply data for designing with would be most helpful.

In addition to allowing external svg file support as this feature request relates to, I'd like to suggest to extend this to enable selecting multiple svg objects already imported into XD and be able to use them as such in the repeat grid. real example would be for a navigation menu where each item has a different svg icon.
