An error occurred while saving the comment Arvid commentedIt would be nice if Adobe XD would allow me to preview documents using macOS' built in quicklook feature (hitting spacebar in finder).

Got it! Thanks for the clarification. I’m leaving this open. :)
An error occurred while saving the comment Arvid commented@Elaine yes, but I would like to do that without the name being selected. So just switching between layers, without the intent of renaming them. Reason is that I often like to sort them using the keyboard (as it is less likely to accidently group layers that way). Therefore I would need to be able to change selection using the keyboard as well, or else I always have to take my hand off the keyboard in order to select the next layer using the mouse, which is unnecessarily timeconsuming and tedious :)

An error occurred while saving the comment Arvid commentedIn Sketch / Studio it is possible to change a layer's size using the keyboard only: cmd + right arrow for example increases the object's width by one pixel. This is especially useful if you need to be extra precise. When doing so with the mouse (or a graphic-tablet) you always have to zoom in quite a lot to guarantee that your mouse movement only equals one pixel.
Additionally holding down the shift modifier key would increase the increment to 10 px

An error occurred while saving the comment Arvid commentedIt would be nice if I could rename layers using a shortcut.
Sketch / InVision studio allow you to press cmd + r and then type away name any element currently selected (layers, groups, artboards, etc.)
Having to double tap in the layers panel is time-consuming with such a repetitive task as renaming stuff.
Usually I try to name my objects, right after I create them. So currently I have to reach to the very left of my monitor all the time in order to do so. Having a shortcut would definitely speed things up a lot (especially on larger monitors, where the distance can be quite something)

An error occurred while saving the comment Arvid commentedI really disagree with that one. I find Illustrator way harder to manage with multiple artboards and because of the nature of XD you are bound to have a lot of artboards. Having only the layers of that are on the artboard makes things way more clear in my opinion.
