An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedI do not think the need for this comes from the ambition to create published final web pages, I think of this feature as kind of "offline" backup of the prototype, for different sharing purposes. Yesterday a client asked me if they can have the prototype on an USB key, as they were presenting in a place with weak internet connection. A PDF export cannot showcase in-browser navigation experience.
I have tried Anima XD plugin, but I have to recreate the navigation, it doesn't recognise the XD prototype navigation. Also, the purpose of this plugin is to create fully functional publishable website.
InvisionApp has the option to export the prototype as HTML.
For dev specs and assets, cloud is enough, but for navigation in an offline environment, a static HTML, hyperlinked pages would be useful.

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedActually there is a semi-manual workaround. If all your images are the same dimension, for example I use this for creating a mobile app prototype from screenshots taken from an existing app.
Add in one folder X images of the same dimension (ex. 360x640px).
Create a blank artboard of this dimension and copy/paste it as many X times as many images you have.
Than use a plugin called Artboard Plus to adjust a gap between artboards to 10px.
Import in XD bulk of images from File>Import
These are added selected on artboard with a 10px gap between them
Drag them to fit to the first artboard

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedWhat about embedding anything, not just Youtube videos (which I personally do not find useful to embed)? I would love to embed a Typeform or Google Forms. It is very quick to create interactive forms that actually work and to test them with users. Prototyping and interactive form simulation with XD takes ages, especially if you have dozens of questions in different UI type. With XD, I would create a header and embed the form in the center of the prototype page.

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedIt is quite useless to have paragraph spacing if there is no possibility to make single line breaks

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedAnd ... if the screen, mouse, voice and face recording could be made throught the prototype mode and not only in preview ... would be fantastic! We could send a link to users and ask them to record their selves using the mockup and then send us the video file (automatic upload in an Adobe CC library dedicated folder?).

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedThis would be interesting. I vote it. But I do not find it as important as fixing and improving existing features, like the new component states and multiple interactions.

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedYes. Component states should behave like components. This includes interactions to be copied to all states. This is essential for a menu component in which each state is active state of each menu item. But if I change the default state all should inherit.

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedDoes this mean that I could have a file saved on Google Drive folder and be able to edit the file directly with XD? This would be very useful for teams that use Drive as primary project repository. Or an automatic sync between CC and GD?

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedI have hard time converting the unicode value to other (hex or name). If you copy the value and paste it to FontAwesome icone search it gives you no result. You need to use an external converter, such as http://www.babelstone.co.uk/Unicode/whatisit.html in order to unveil the hex value and then use it in your app or find it on FA website.
Can XD help with this? For example, allowing us to use directly hex/name value in XD design part (it works for other icon fonts such as Material)? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedYes, please. This is essential for desktop design preview. Just copy Invision (copy also background customizing while you're there).

This is something we’re currently investigating. Stay tuned!
An error occurred while saving the comment Harun Alikadić commentedIs there any way to install Material Icon font on Android device in order to be rendered in XD mobile preview?

Like Figma, there is a list and preview of names and thumbnails of all assets that are available in one single bulk zipped download. At this moment, in XD, we have only a total number of files that will be available across artboards.
