Yes please! Expecially a parent component. Like I have a Menu that I want to toggle open a side menu on tap. But I have to set clicking anywhere on the entire menu to trigger the interaction because I can't just place the listener on the hamburger menu icon..

Jesus christ how is this not a feature already? I am literally about to switch my whole design team back to Figma because this is like the 10th basic thing I've found that XD can't do

I would like to 643rd this vote. If I edit a component state instance I should be able to save the changes back to the main component state. Very similar to how you can update a text style in word once you've overwritten it. Not having this is making component states extremely frustrating especially when I spend an hour tweaking a component state only to realize I was tweaking the instance and not the master

Moved my whole design team to XD as per my colleague's suggestion. We are only on the MVP designs for the product and I've already run into the limits in the X-Axis. Hopefully XD patches this soon or my executive team is going to have a good laugh when I tell them we're out of design space
