An error occurred while saving the comment Silver Spades commentedAfter being teleported to a a sybol master we should be able to simply go back to the instance, like. It works in Sketch and Figma, instead of constantly struggling to find our way back.
It's very important for the complex projects and design systems..Silver Spades supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Silver Spades commentedAs we have tried to implement / transfer a component palette it became clear, that we need more similarity between how we handle Artboards and Components. Here are the most wanted aspects to this:
1. Displaying a symbol name above the symbol
If we have a couple of symbols under each other in the Design system it is unclear which is where unless we click them. (See the attachment)2. Displaying Background/boundaries
In the same attachment it is unclear how big are symbols nor if they all of the same size unless selected. In some cases the background is needed.3. Display Relative XY position of the elements inside of the symbols on the pasteboard.
I personally hardly see any use to the displayed absolute X/Y position of elements inside of the components, placed on the pasteboard. Like in example x:7400 y:-5062 (See the attachment)

From my experience In a UI design it's much more common to scale elements only vertically/horizontally then in such an app as Photoshop. Thats why the thin objects such as dividers are having only horisontal scaling while zoomed out. Well done XD!
But i'm afraid it not always work as intended. I would like to be able to hirisonally/vertically scale all objects with the mouse, such as toolbars etc without need to zoom in and out.
Observed: horizontal vertical scaling not possible if the controls are too small to display but not collapsed alltogether.
Expected: mouse pointer turns into a horisontal scrolling and allows the action in the middle of thin layers even if the bounding box controls are too close to display. Maybe also a shortcut do display only horisontal vertical scaling controls.
Example: Scale the toolbar and a divider below.
