An error occurred while saving the comment Stuart McCoy commentedNot having this feature implemented yet is embarrassing. It's been nearly two years since this was requested and quite frankly its lack makes this app unusable. This should have been the default behavior from the very beginning.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stuart McCoy commentedIt's been nearly three years and STILL no action on this feature. Why wasn't this in the initial release? Adobe XD is supposed to be a tool for creating web comps and bullet lists are a common component in web design. Creating separate text blocks or using repeat grids is not an acceptable workaround.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stuart McCoy commentedI like the idea but InDesign, IMHO, implemented this feature the best. Press and hold the space bar and after a second the view zooms out and enter birds eye view with the zoom marker colored in red. Regardless, this feature needs to be in XD given how users generate massive layouts with tens to hundreds of screens and organizational art boards.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stuart McCoy commentedI like the Framer approach because it offers the ability to "code" by adjusting values in a panel so you get a sense what's possible but you can also adjust within the code window when necessary.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stuart McCoy commentedJust what the title says. Buy out Subform (https://subformapp.com/) from its owners/developers (they're self-funded so they might welcome the offer) and roll it into Adobe XD. There are some amazing layout features, object states, and all around good ideas about product design built into this little app.

Hi Kieran,
Thanks for your feedback! This feature is already in our backlog – not sure when it will arrive, but we’re aware of the need for it.
Regards,

An error occurred while saving the comment Stuart McCoy commentedI would think this would function the same way master pages work in InDesign or Muse. Master items, by their definition, are going to function the same way regardless of which screen you're on (think main navigation; buttons along the bottom for an iOS app or links across the top for a web page). I would setup my global items on a master artboard and whatever actions I attach to this global item would work the same way on whatever regular artboard they were used on. If I want to edit the actions of a global item I would need to go to the master artboard they originated from. I don't know if t's absolutely necessary but allowing master artboards to be based on one another like they can InDesign could make things easier for more complicated situations. Allowing global items to be unlocked from the master, similar to InDesign, might also be useful but I can't think of any situation off the top of my head.
The first comment here was made in 2016. It's 2021, this thread had 1643 votes currently (1644 after I add mine), and this isn't even in feature review or any other status. I don't know what's happening at Adobe but they seem to be spending too much time and effort on evangelists, conferences, and live sessions, but not nearly enough time, effort, and money on developers. CSS can literally do this so why can't Adobe XD? I thought this was a tool for web designers?
