An error occurred while saving the comment Dashanan commentedChiming in with another real-life example... When reviewing my team's designs made for mobile , I like to view it on the canvas as well as on the XD mobile app. This means my one hand is holding the phone, while the other is on the mouse/trackpad. During the review process it is common to zoom in the artboard and inspect certain design elements. At this point, we need to scroll around the artboard and the screen. While scrolling in the screen is easy, but to scroll on the artboard we need to put the phone down to hold the space bar. This gets frustrating after a while, especially when you are reviewing many screens.
A dedicated hand tool will solve this UX issue.Dashanan supported this idea · -

We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will be able to share ownership of prototypes and design specs. More details to come!
An error occurred while saving the comment Dashanan commentedHi Arun,
Yes I as referring to private links. So it is great to know that the links will stay active. Will the invited members need to just have an Adobe ID or also an active CC subscription running to keep the links active?
And yes, we would also like the feature to change ownership of the link and start updating the designs from XD to the same link.
Thanks
An error occurred while saving the comment Dashanan commentedThe same facility is also required for design specs. Pasting details from another request I made on this...
We have an agency that is using Adobe XD just for our project. They will not renew their Adobe CC license after this project. The ongoing project has its design specs published and contain rich amount of comments and conversations.
We would require this information to be transferred to us after the agency has completed the project and exited. This is important from a retrospective and legal standpoint.
However Adobe XD does not have this feature yet. We also need a way for internal designers who are leaving the company to transfer the published specs and prototypes to someone else without requiring creation of new links. The links need to be retained because they are already shared in multiple places including Jira. Suddenly having all these links going dead will be an upset.
Zeplin has a simple way to transfer ownership. A feature similar to that will be quite sufficient: https://support.zeplin.io/faq/transferring-a-project

Sorry for the false alarm! Someone pointed out to me that I interpreted the request incorrectly. While you can now select objects both in the artboard and on the pasteboard, you cannot yet select objects on the pasteboard and complete artboards themselves.
An error occurred while saving the comment Dashanan commentedI second this. For one project I am working on XD, the number of artboards is well over 200. So I group artboards by journeys (E.g. pre-login home, registration, login, forgot, post-login home etc). I also throw in comments next to an artboard for any detailed explanation required regarding it. Now obviously unforeseen tweaks come up, that require artboards to be moved around or add new artboards in a journey. Basically requiring the pertaining canvas area to be selected and moved. But with the current limitation of on mass-selecting artboards and not external elements - results in a nightmare of task.

He is talking about "embedding" prototypes (in mockups) into external documents (like PDF). This is of course not possible in PDF format.
