You can direct select elements by holding CMD when clicking on items that are part of groups. Marquee selecting anchor points is landing very soon, so that you could select parts of your rectangle. Do you expect a different behavior? Did I understand your request right? Thanks for your feedback.

No, I mean drawing a rectangle proportional, like photoshop does. 16:9, 4:3 etc.
The only way doing this right now, drawing a rectangle with these number and maintain proportions when scaling.
I'm looking a way to draw rectangles exact proportions in first place. Photoshop solved this by giving you options under the gear icon with these options; unconstrained,square, fixed size and proportional.
