While we haven’t created UI to bring this into the app, we have worked to create a wireframe UI kit that we released recently (for free!). Check out Wires: https://www.behance.net/gallery/55462459/Wires-free-wireframe-kits-for-Adobe-XD

To add more fidelity to this request – it would be awesome to at the very least be able to create a simple "X"ed box in one click. Some wireframe programs put too much fidelity here, but as opposed to "fake images" which a user can easily solve for with XD (just use a generic grayscale library of images and populate boxes with them), if you could toggle between rectangle and rectangle with an X (where the X was defined by the rectangle's border color + size), then that would be so helpful in IA and early interaction design phases!
We think you’re going to really, really dig the plugin integrations we’re making available later this year :)
Heads up that we now support the welcome screen popping up when you press Cmd+N. I’m editing this suggestion to be about saving the most recent custom size.

1. Ability to type words (with basic alignment properties) into rectangles, ellipses, and lines – and having the type and draw object always be the same associated object (as opposed to a separate type box that mimics the original draw shape as seen in PS when typing onto a vector shape).
2. Easy flow chart creation, text within objects (like mocking up a text field or creating a button). Reduces complexity of objects to use within a working file. Also shaves off a little bit of time for something that a user will be doing frequently in certain parts of their design workflow.
