Character styles are not tagging correctly. Changing in unexpected locations in file

I have four character styles that I am using in my file. The text is styled the way I want, but when I paste additional copy...text that is not even close to the pasted text changes style. I have before and after pictures attached to show. This has happened several times. I am on the Windows platform. Also note that the pasted text changes styles i the middle.

Glad to know the bug is logged. Please keep me posted when the issue is solved, because the workaround is not really user friendly as I have to re-apply my styles everytime I do so.

Same thing if I only type a letter. It seems that the styles are not applied to caracters but at a precise number of caracters from the top and adding caracters is shifting text but styles does not move

I'm also getting this exact issue.
For me it happens when i cut/remove/delete/paste text from an 'area text' that has multiple styles assigned to it.

It seems to ONLY happen once you remove the first character of a paragraph.

WORKAROUND: Use SHIFT + RETURN for a new line instead of new paragraph.
