[Windows] XD does not launch for users with spaces in their home directory (G14490)
Space: the final frontier. Unfortunately, space is one of those things that XD isn’t handling well; if you can’t launch XD on Windows, you should check to see if you have a space or period in your home directory. We're working on a solution to the problem and will update you with the latest information when we have it!
First of all, on behalf of the Adobe XD team, we apologize for the inconvenience of this bug. While we try our utmost to ensure that we don’t have significant problems with Adobe XD, sometimes things happen.
I’m very happy to say that we just released a fix for this issue. Windows 10 users with spaces and periods in their home directories should now be able to use XD’s January beta. Please go to the Creative Cloud desktop, select the gear, and select “Check for App Updates.” A new version of XD should be available for you to download.
Thanks again for your patience!

Any update at all on this? It has been over a week not being able to use this program. Extremely frustrating. As others mentioned at least provide us with the previous version.
please fix it !!

When can we expect an update or fix? The old version was working fine until I updated to this one...
55 votes highest CMS vote in XD, they better fix this and push an update early
Hi, there is a fix around this. But it includes creating a user account in Windows with admin rights and then you can use Adobe Xd again!

What's the recommended fix or work-around for this issue?
I'm having the same issue after the January 2017 Update, /Users/ folder has a space in it.

I have a same issue on surfacePro4.
It won't launch after the new update, gives me prompt to uninstall and reinstall and that doesn't work either :(

Same problem here! Was so excited that XD was available for Windows, but not I can't play. Tried reinstalling again, but I see that many others are having the same recurring issue.

It's a sad story. The big thing is that I don't have any spaces in user name, but having the same issure. I think when they fix this bug, it won't help.
