  1. [Windows] XD reopens unchanged files from the previous session (G18894)

    Everyone has things they would rather forget, like those particularly embarrassing experiences from adolescence that pop up into conversation every once in a while. Similarly, XD for Windows 10 occasionally gets into a cycle where it will open every single window you had in your last session, even if you saved and closed the file. If this happens, you should close the application and delete the files in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Adobe.CC.XD_adky2gkssdxte\LocalState.

    • Name cropped when exporting artboards to pngs

      Version 0.6.32.12 Beta

      I try to export multiple artboards, already naming them as I want, I export to png, when I check the pngs name: the name are not exported properly (it’s cropped randomly), some cropped, some doesn’t.



      For example,
      Expected result: “Mockup01 - without collaboration - 170620.png” 

      Actual result: “Mockup01 - without colla.png”

      It's never happen on previous version. I'm using Mac.

            Hi,

            yesterday there was a service outage that impacted all adobe.com domains. I’m really sorry you ran into this. It shoudl be resolved now.

          • Resolve a comment KEEPS you on the unresolved comments screen

            when I resolve a comment, it shifts the comments screen to show me the RESOLVED comments... and then I have to click back to UNRESOLVED comments. That's frustrating. I resolved the comment to get it out of the way to keep working on the other comments beneath it. Now I have to go back and find where i left off.

            Resolving a comment show "dissolve" the comment away and then you can keep working on others. You can always view Resolved comments later.

            • [Mac] Exported artboards are getting renamed with numbers

              Hey guys!
              What happened to the exporting feature? After this last updated my artboards are getting renamed with numbers when I export them, why did you add a limit there?
              This is a huge step back, every designer uses the artboard names to organize the wireframes folders, we need to export the files as we name them on the software.
              That's not a good user experience =/

              • Prototype Sharing Image Resolution

                All of my Prototypes that are managed in CC are showing up blurry. My guess is that up until the last update they were @2x and now they are @1x - but honestly, this won't work.

                  This issue has been fixed in an update of XD. Please update your version of XD. If you don’t see an update in your Creative Cloud Desktop app, click on the gear icon and select “Check for App Updates” and you should see the update in your “Apps” tab.

                  Click Export...
                  Configure Export Assets:
                  Format: PNG
                  Export for: Android
                  Designed at 100% - mdpi
                  Export to: c:\example
                  Click Export
                  Open folder files were exported to

                  Expected file name to be:
                  ic_ethernet_unplugged_white_24dp.png

                  Actual file name is:
                  ic_ethernet_unplugged_white_2.png

                  Exported file names appear to be truncating at 29 characters, 33 characters with extension.

                    • Regular pasting always in center of Artboard

                      If I copy an object from outside an artboard and paste it into an artboard. It ends up in the exact center of the artboard. It should be pasted at the center of the current view.

                      I paste it into a 6600px high artboard, to which I'm zoomed in at 150% (effectively making it a 9900px high artboard) and my object end up a couple of thousand pixels down. This is incredibly annoying.

                      Also pasting shouldn't be "Paste in place" by default.

                      Use (windows: [CTRL]) [CMD] + [V] for regular pasting at the center of your current view.

                        Thanks for reporting this! We’ve made a couple of adjustments to our paste behavior in the August build of XD so that we paste in the center of your view. We’re looking at some additional enhancements to paste in the future as well. If you have feedback on the current behavior, please do send us a new bug or feature request so that we can keep you in the loop!

                          Sorry for the inconvenience! We experienced an unexpected service outage late last night that affected the ability to access prototypes. We were able to restore service soon afterward. In the future, you can go to status.adobe.com and click on “Creative Cloud” to check to see if there’s a service outage.

                          Latest version of Adobe xD keyboard shortcuts do not work, bringing to the front and sending to back keyboard shortcuts are broken.

                              • readFileSync() Error

                                Having readFileSync() error while opening Xd files. Even newly created with minimum components in design files are unable to open.

                                • Version 0.6.28.10 Beta for Mac (iOS Sierra) / Desktop Preview Constant Crashes

                                  Installed last updates yesterday (06/07/2017) and now XD is crashing every time I use the desktop preview.

                                  It allows me to preview a few screens back and forth, but after a few interactions the app completely crashes and closes itself without saving your last edits.

                                    • XD (Windows 10) - Export Assets confused when duplicating an artboard - Wants to replace existing artboard assets.

                                      In XD (Windows 10). I start from Artboard "Name1" and export assets as PNG. I then duplicate the Artboard "Name1" and rename "Name2". I then select Name2 Artboard and use the export function again. XD tries to override the files I had exported in the first place. It seems that if I duplicate an Artboard and change its name, the file names for export should reflect that renaming and I should not have conflict with the original artboard.

                                      • Prototype mode: X and Y positioning appears different on phone compare to the screen

                                        I can't rely on my phone anymore to see what my design looks like... I have to use it just for reference too see if the text size or graphics is big enough to view or interact with. Please fix this!

                                          The graphics bug has been fixed in the most recent version of the mobile app (1.2.4, released a couple of weeks ago). I checked with one of our developers, who mentioned that fonts sizes/measurements may vary between the desktop and the mobile device.

                                          Space: the final frontier. Unfortunately, space is one of those things that XD isn’t handling well; if you can’t launch XD on Windows, you should check to see if you have a space or period in your home directory. We're working on a solution to the problem and will update you with the latest information when we have it!

                                            Hi, everyone-

                                            First of all, on behalf of the Adobe XD team, we apologize for the inconvenience of this bug. While we try our utmost to ensure that we don’t have significant problems with Adobe XD, sometimes things happen.

                                            I’m very happy to say that we just released a fix for this issue. Windows 10 users with spaces and periods in their home directories should now be able to use XD’s January beta. Please go to the Creative Cloud desktop, select the gear, and select “Check for App Updates.” A new version of XD should be available for you to download.
