  1. Copy Paste / Undo Redo are disabled

    Macbook Pro OS 10.13.4

    XD Latest Version. I cannot copy / paste anything and undo / redo are completely disabled. I've restarted machine, reinstalled software and signed out of CC / etc. This issue is leaving me dead in the water.

    • [Windows] Keyboard shortcuts for arranging elements not working

        In order to better understand what might be happening, I’d like to ask the following:
        - Enter DxDiag and follow prompts to save file. Post to shared location.
        - Where do you save your XD files?
        - System language
        - What other things do you have running while working in XD?
        - External/second monitors?

        • Prototypes slow to load

          Prototypes that have fixed elements and/or overlays are very slow to load after the June 2018 release of XD.

          -have not tried prototypes without fixed or scrollable elements
          -makes loading prototypes painfully slow and feels counterproductive to share with Dev team members

          • June Update: Prototype Preview (w/Link online) is Freezing and Very Slow

            Now when I try to preview the prototype link online, when I click on hotspots, it is extremely slow and freezes. Transitions don't slow. Just a ton of bugs after this June update was released.

            I can't send preview links to anyone because it is so slow and crashes. Please fix!!!

              @Joel – I hear you! Unfortunately User Voice doesn’t currently support attachments to comments :( You can upload and share on spots like Dropbox or WeTransfer.

              @Everyone – Want to make sure we’re looking at the correct problem based on the original report. I think that’s my fault as I think I mistakenly merged a few records that weren’t related.

              From the comments I’m seeing issues with editing text in XD. While others are with Prototype performance.

              If your issue is the former (text edit issues), I’d like to request you comment in the linked report here. That way we can clearly share our findings with the community at large, https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353010-adobe-xd-bugs/suggestions/34616176-text-tool-no-response

              If it’s the latter, keep the feedback coming!

            • Clicking on TEXT, to expand the font menu, adobe XD disappears. (closes/crashes)

              1. Version 7.0.12.9 Windows 10 64Bit

              2. Start a new document, click the text tool in an artboard, click to expand the font/text menu to pick a new font.

              3. Expect Font menu to expand.

              4. Adobe XD disappears.

              Additional Info: Already using latest stable graphics card drivers. It appears to be a problem with building the text menu to include all the fonts on my system. I have 2 identical PC builds, one of which adobe XD functions correctly, and one with the afore mentioned problem.

                Checking in to see if you’re still seeing this issue? We’ve not been able to reproduce in-house and having a tough time narrowing down root cause.

                If you are still seeing this problem, it would help bunches to have the following details:
                - XD version
                - OS version
                - Font name and if purchased, where
                - Are you using any font managers?

                Also, some logs to help highlight more details that hopefully will give us a better idea of where things are going wrong.

                - Mac/Win
                Creative Cloud logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html

                Open Terminal and enter the following:
                log show —predicate ‘processImagePath CONTAINS “Adobe XD”’ —last 3h >xd-log.txt

                This generates a file “xd-log.txt” in the curent directory, which users can send to us. Can change “3h” to a longer time window (like “1d”).

              • Blank White Screen Is Seen On Launching Xd (#49863)

                A blank white screen is seen on launching XD, when in the first instance the XD sign in dialog was closed and the user had signed in through the Sign in screen. Recommended workaround is to relaunch the application.

                • Prototype "Fullscreen-Mode" doesn't work correctly after updating to June 2018 Update

                  After updating to June 2018 Update the fullscreen mode for prototypes doesn't work correctly anymore. If I click on the fullscreen icon the image will be displayed way too large so that I only can see a fraction of the image.

                  Normally the image easily fit in my screen. It has a width of 1440px and my screen resolution is 1680x1050px.

                  • text tool no response

                    when editing heavy text/long text box, text tool and cursor are active but cannot select text or switch back to other tools.

                    I have to keep close XD, reopen the file, edit TWO WORDS (literally) and close and reopen again which significantly slows down a simple task.

                    I tried to edit and style file in InDesign and copy over but none of the stylings is carried over.

                    Please fix this for a smoother prototyping process. Thanks.

                    • Client Comments Lost!

                      My client made comments throughout a 44 screen XD file, I made changes, deleted 1 slide, added 1 slide, made sure all artboards were connected. I UPDATED the link and ALL their comments disappeared! This is EXTREMELY annoying and my client was pretty pissed that it happened. Why in Gods good name cant we go back a version at least so we can get the comments back? We should never lose comments, especially from clients!

                        Yeah, what you’re describing is definitely not a good user experience.

                        Creating a new link does keep the original intact. So the link where you had problems with the missing comments is the one I would need in order to have network logs show me where the problem might have happened. If the link you shared was the new file, then the comments would never have shown up there since they were tied to the original URL.

                        Is there any chance you’ve logged into different Creative Cloud accounts on the same system?

                          Thanks for the details Rob!

                          It looks like your artboards are differently sized. When I click on the links it forces a redraw of the page to accommodate the new artboard dimensions which seems right to me. Can you tell me what you’re trying to accomplish?

                        • Keyboard not responding

                          Version 9.1.12.3
                          Creative Cloud Sync 3.0.3.6
                          Windows 10 PRO · Version 1709
                          Lenovo X1 Carbon i7-6500 · 8 GB

                          Xd succesfully launch, but after a while (randomly between 10" ~ 5') the keyboard stops working. Not writing in text fields, not editing any UI field, not shortcuts. I have to close the program and launch it again.

                          Please, fix this problem because further than annoying, it makes really difficult to continue working with this fantastic app.

                          • Low Quality Exported Prototypes

                            When viewing prototypes, the quality for our AM's in a different office is shockingly poor.

                            Obviously this isn't great for presenting with clients!

                            XD Version 9.0.12.19
                            Steps: Export link, send to collegue
                            Expected: Clear images of high quality to present to client
                            Actual: Poor, blurry pixelated images.

                            Viewing on latest version of Chrome on windows and mac.

                            • Losing Keyboard Shortcut forcing restart of XD

                              While editing an XD file, sudden loss of keyboard command input. Still can type text but all the keyboard issued command do not work: Copy (CTRL+C), paste, save, etc... This forces to shutdown XD and restart. Not sure what is causing it.

                              • Formatting Breaking Sporadically

                                As you can see in my attached screenshots, the formatting on the copy is getting messed up randomly. The messed up copy appeared after I closed my file and returned to it later.

                                I did see at least one other bug report here, but the bug was marked as inactive. Clearly, it still exists.

                                  • Overlay shows scroll bar despite scroll = none

                                    Overlays show a scrollbar even when scroll is set to none on the target artboard. I can't get 100% replicability, but majority of the time.

                                    1. Create a small artboard (e.g. to be a dialog) with all contents within the artboard area.
                                    2. Set scroll = none on this artboard
                                    3. In prototype mode, set the artboard as the target overlay of another
                                    4. Enter desktop preview
                                    5. When overlay is shown, vertical scroll bar appears

                                      1. コメント入力欄に日本語を入力する
                                      2. 漢字変換を確定させるためにキーボードのEnterキーを押す
                                      3. 変換の確定と同時にコメントが投稿されてしまう。

                                      私が期待していた動作
                                      1. コメント入力欄に日本語を入力する
                                      2. 漢字変換を確定させるためにキーボードのEnterキーを押す
                                      3. 漢字の変換が確定される
                                      4. 未確定の変換が残っていない状態でEnterキーを押すとコメントが投稿される

                                      すでに投稿されたコメントを編集するときも同様のことが起こります。
                                      コメント機能がとても使いづらくなっているので急いで直していただきたいです。

                                        1. Version: latest (as of (07/02/18)
                                        2. Steps to reproduce: Create Textbox, have different formatting within it (e.g. heading in bold and underlined). When going to the non-heading line that is not bold or underlined and trying to write before the existing text but in the same line, it will adopt the formatting of the heading instead of the text that comes after.                                           Thanks for sharing your feedback. Dp you see this problem with all fonts and in all documents? Or do you note the issue is with specific fonts, files or formats? Are you using fonts from font manager (Typekit, etc)? Are you working on multiple OS (Mac/Win or multiple machines).

                                        • Latest version of XD is incompatible with latest version of Zeplin

                                          I have been using Adobe XD along with Zeplin for a while now. Exporting artboards from XD 👉Zeplin has worked like a charm.

                                          But after updating Zeplin to v.2.0, exporting artboards from XD stopped working.

                                          Steps to reproduce:
                                          1) Update XD and Zeplin to latest vesions
                                          2) In XD, select an artboard and File > Export > Zeplin
                                          3) An error message is displayed (see attached file)

                                          The issue has been reported to Zeplin. They say that they haven't changed anything that should conflict with this. https://twitter.com/olefredrik/status/1009701419245547526
