Font rendering differently desktop app and in web preview
I've noticed there's a big difference between the way a font renders on the desktop application, and in the web preview.
We've designed the site using a Google Font: Josefin Sans. It has several available weights. However, what I've noticed is that if you specify a font as 'Regular' weight in the app, it renders thicker on screen. However, when you export it to the Web Preview, it renders as 'Regular' weight, as it should.
Why is there such a discrepancy, and how do I resolve it?
As we haven’t seen any activity on this bug in three months, I’m marking this bug as inactive. Please do feel free to file this bug again if you’re still experiencing it!

I raised this with Adobe more than a month ago, and provided examples from Figma and Studio (who both render text correctly). It happens a lot and particularly on dark backgrounds, but so far I've heard nothing back. Makes many of my designs look awful, and it happens with virtually every font I try.
Same here this is a serious issue adobe please sort as matter of urgency.. fonts and colours are not converting as they look in preview or build.

Also experiencing a large discrepancy between fonts rendered in XD vs what renders in the browser. Both the preview and the coded webpage is using 14pt fonts at 100%, but we have found a 4pt difference between elements, so we have to reduce all 14pt fonts to 10pt, and so on. This is very troubling as we can't accurately design and code to spec. Help!!!
This still happens. I think the differnce is anti-aliasing, and it's particularly noticeable on low-density (72dpi) displays.
