    I don't understand ANYONE's need to work backwards towards PSD. You have vectors! Use them AS the assets!

    I absolutely agree, I am just learning Xd and really excited about it, but our developers want a PSD. Please.

    MUST REQUIRED FUNCTIONALITY!!!!!!! XD will rule UX/UI design if this function is available.
    I have spent days to research on all other softwares to get files into psd.. its pain in ass. and developers want PSD.

    Yes, this is a must! XD provides a great designer/developer workflow and I love using it. However, I have far too many clients still clinging to Photoshop and require editable layered files. PS is a horrible program for web-based art boarding, but I can't force my clients to use XD, so I can't use this lovely program.

    Still waiting for this feature to be added to XD! Love using XD for design, but still need to convert my files to the PSD format for our developers to use. Hope you can prioritize this feature, there is a real need for it!

    Please add export to psd/photoshop format. It is really needed

    This is THE option that XD should have for us designer to export our projects for developers.

    Most developers work with PSD format and will not rebuild your entire design from scratch just using the assets you created (which would be a dumb to decision to use XD in the first place then). Nor does it makes sense to create everything as a single artboard because developers need the flexibility to use each element.

    And even with PSD export option, the final export file should be imported into Photoshop with layers and groups so our design doesnt get scrambled.

    Even though XD is a great tool many clients request their UI designs submitted in PSD or sketch . It will be easy when there is a option to export files directly to PSD or AI
