Showing Layers AND Assets at the Same Time
I can't believe this suggestion doesn't already exist, but I work on a 32" or a 27" monitor all the time. I have plenty of screen real estate. Why not let me view both Assets and Layers panels at the same time?

This is a basic function of all other Adobe applications (customization of workspace). This makes building animations and editing components so much more cumbersome than it should be.

It's ridiculous that we have to toggle back and forth between them. Even better let us detach the panels and rearrange like every other adobe app

And plugins, too!

Agree. this makes me do the same actions over and over again...

... and Plugins panel too. All panels should be able to float or be docked and/ or visible like Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign etc.
I'm using the Windows version and switching via small icons in the bottom left of the screen is crazy when there's so much space available for always being visible.
At least give it as an option please if other users find it better as it currently is.

Split up just like on Sketch or do as photoshop.

This results in so many unnecessary clicks. Should be a basic feature.

Yes please! Normally the designers we have a big screens, so I don´t understand why I can´t have at the same time.

Please please please make this available. Please give the users like do you with your other programs the ability to open whichever of the three main panels they want and dock them at a time. It is cumbersome to have to switch between layers and assets when I could have them side by side or top and bottom, especially on larger screens.

Please could you implement this request - and allow colours, character styles and components to have their own panels, or at least let them be collapsible.
It's incredibly disruptive to keep having to toggle between the panels as though they were mutually exclusive functions.
Many thanks.

+1. Simply a shift / ctrl click should open additional panels instead of toggling

Absolutely agree!
To be able to view both panels concurrently should be definitely possible. Ideally as tabbed pallets.
Kind of obvious.
Adobe, please add this.Thanks.

This request should be taken seriously. Something akin to Sketch's Symbol (asset) and Appearance (style) selectors would significantly improve design workflow in XD.

This should be at the top of all wishes. Would drastically improve my workflow.

As a user I want to see both my layers panel AND my component panel open at the same time and all relevant contextual options available through right click on an object for BOTH panels.

Agreed. Sad that this is almost 2 years old and no news on this. The customization of the Photoshop/Illustrator Workspace has me spoiled. I feel like I am constantly swapping between Layers and Assets when doing visual design prototyping in XD.

Agreed – I find myself going back and forth between the layers panel and components panel constantly, and with a two-monitor setup it would be great to have both perpetually displayed.
