Adobe, you are asleep at the wheel. Lists are perhaps the most basic feature in web design land. It's now been TWO years and still no ability to add lists or other basic text formatting? Wake up.

I really like XD but the mind boggles at how something this simple hasn't even been acknowledged yet.

Make it happen please ! :)

Adobe, why you are so slow in improving XD?

Sometimes I got a feeling that XD was built with the roof first, guys web and mobile design is about text formatting, why don't you focus on that and give us tools that we actually need. Like bullet lists for instance.

Huge oversight not having this...

Even to be able to just use the indentation key command (Command + | ) to align the bullet text indentation would suffice.

Whats the point of have a suggestion section without even addressing it? This suggestion was added in September 2016! A simple "we're working on it" would suffice. Or even "we aren't working on it" would be fine.

Seems we'll be buying Macs then - Sketch it is...

Come on Adobe. The longer you leave these things, the less likely it'll be that this will ever catch on. Sketch, Framer, Figma are all pulling away from you here.

It's JULY 2018, and this feature is still MISSING! Cant believe
-
Mike commented
How does this not exist already?
Basic type features should have been a part of version 1.No wonder XD hasn't caught on with a lot of people yet.
Very basic features are missing, and the app becomes unusable. It's a great idea.
But the level of restriction feels like you're working with limitations that are even worse than ie7. -

Ideally anything that you can do with HTML and CSS you should be able to do it on XD Easily.. This includes bullet point styles and automated indentation perhaps based on a the CSS box model.

+1 - A bit time consuming to manually make bullet points. Most sites/interfaces have lists with features for subscriptions etc... So this is kinda a no-brainer!

Yes, really need bullet point and number (list) formatting options
