Bitmap Editing: basic image filters (hue, saturation, brightness/levels)
the ability to apply image filters and treatments such as "hue, saturation, levels, etc".

Having to use another software to crop images (not mask, as this gets heavy really fast on filesize) really cuts down (no pun intended) my performance when prototyping on a existing layout.

This would be great. I am currently working on creating a grid of images that are black and white that turn to full color when you click on them. Would be great to import all of them at full color and then adjust the color within XD. Instead of having to have 2 versions of each image.

Agreed. A simple crop with the ability to edit contrast, color, etc so you can see your wireframes quickly with black and white photos, color, high contrast, etc.

ahh. yes photoshop is really amazing. I am new in graphics design. Getting trained from a institute. I am getting surprised day by day as I am learning photoshop. This is really amazing. Now I am focused on Banner creation and learning day by day.

it would be great to have the same image editing feature that are already available in Fireworks so it would be not necessary to switch to Photoshop for basic image editing

The most Urgent IMO is the Saturation & Color filter... That was really cool in Sketch.

I use photoshop to edit images I use in XD, can we be able to edit images right in XD without living the app. No need for huge features, just a curve, level bar etc.

The software could use more bitmap options. I would be way more likely to use this if it had some basic bitmap options. Cropping option accessible from toolbar, HSL, brightness/contrast, select (marching ants)/feather tools.

Ridiculous that I can't pull an image into the XD workspace and crop it before placing it into the artboard.

Ability to turn all FPO imagery into greyscale for prototyping/wireframing

Would be great to have the ability to turn images black and white in XD.
A design I am working on have images black and white on load and then when you hover, they switch to the original, full color version.

You probably know this, but you do have the ability to control the mask of a placed image by double-clicking the image. Your Photoshop-specific enhancements have been noted!

I would love the ability to use the features that are available in photoshop such as layer via copy and layer via cut as well. This would make creating rough prototyping form existing designs very useful. This would also help with web optimisation design prototyping as well.
Currently I have to take everything into photoshop to edit and then bring it back into XD to continue prototyping.
Even just a crop tool in XD would be useful. Anything to edit images and designs dragged in.

Yes, this would be very helpfull.

I really needed black & white regime for images as well as for the whole screen to see accessibility for color blinded people. Would be nice to have it inside one application.

+1. For reference Apple Keynote on Mac has some great and easy features for interacting with photos (and images) within shapes. A double or triple click selects the shape or the photo. The photo can then be dragged around, scaled, rotated etc. Keynote also allows for editing exposure, tint, contrast etc.

As name implies now it isnt possible(atleast I dont know) to paste PNG. icon files copied from sources as "web" directly into XD app without first saving it to your pc and then importing it again.
Also I would like to see "color adjust" option with (brightness, contrast, hue and saturation)

I feel like this is covered under some of the cropping posts – but it is not. This feature is the ONLY feature that is keeping our studio from moving to XD as a permanent web design solution. PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
