Expand Stroke / Create Outlines (convert stroke to separate filled path)

In Illustrator, I can draw an object and then use Expand to convert the strokes to a fill.

I would like to be able to do this in XD

    Posted in 2016 and still no resolution. Didn't realise how terrible adobe SVG exports are in general until now. Off to Figma I go.

    You are selling XD for Design System management, but yet, when I have to share load of icons with devs, I need to convert outline in path passing them all through Illustrator and back to XD. I get that you love to focus on more sexier features, but we use those 1% of the working time ...

    Just another thing that XD can't do yet majority of the competitors can. Why am I using XD again?

    Ok so seems like every post is directed back to this thread...

    A workaround for anyone who just needs to get the thing done: expand the stroke in illustrator, then copy paste it into XD.

    Sounds dumb, and maybe everyone already does this, but as a newbie to XD this literally took like a week of scouring the internet for solutions to click in my head.

    At least it works

    ADOBE XD- does not have border line convert to Path..

    If this feature is available. Lot designers will be a happy.

    This feature is highly necessary in Xd indeed.
    Trying to switch to Xd, but often have to move back to Sketch and Figma due to the limited features...
    Any reason not to include it ?
