Tabbed design view for multiple files

Similar to Photoshop or Illustrator (See attached file), it would be valuable to allow for multiple files to be opened and arranged in the design pane using tabs. This would give users a quick way to switch between their projects and will provide a much better workflow in general.

This is a must for me!

    This is greatly needed. Now i'm beginning to see where Sketch shines better.

    Is this still under review??

    I'm frustrated daily by the lack of tabs for multiple documents. I regularly drag imagery into my artboards from the finder... and have to resize EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT to allow the finder to peek through. Also... having 5 documents open becomes a mess of differently sized windows and I lose track of what's open already. HELP!

    1 多个 psd 同时存在于一个 界面中 并且 多个xd之间能互相交换 元素
    2 xd工具 增加 自定义形状 例如箭头 之类 如ps里面自定义形状
    3 ps 里面的文件能直接拖入xd 不用在新建 一个 xd

    I wish a similar function as in Photoshop and Illustrator. There it is always possible to open several files in parallel and switch over a tab back and forth. In XD I would also like to switch over tabs between the xd files back and forth without the windows always change (in several projects)

    Totally agree! I think this would greatly improve user experience and feel more like an Adobe CC ecosystem application.

    Maybe have tabs at the top of the page to switch between projects? and also show the art-board as being highlighted when you are accessing it and changing it, so you can see where it is on the board.

    With tabs it is way easier to have control over the files you work on. In one blink of an eye you can see other files and what you are working on.

    Agree with this request - A tabbed interface, exactly like you've implemented in Photoshop and Illustrator is a must.

    Yep, definitely a must have! On Windows you can use the same approach as Microsoft Edge when it comes to tabs since XD is a Windows "Modern" App.

    this feature would be awesome. switching between projects will be much easier this way.
